Pain is a part of me

I've finished reading the book i borrowed on wednesday...

It's as though it was speaking to me... A lot of what is written is just so true to me... lol

I've not experienced one such book where it just touched me... It described the feelings and situations that I couldn't put words to, wrapped me up in warmth and happiness (yes, seriously..) I felt happy whenever I was reading it... In the story, the male character brought out a world filled with kindness, love and hope for the female character... And I went into that world as well... Reading it, I thought that the world I am in now, could be a better place, like that of the world in the story... silly, I know...

Towards the end of the book I really cried, but not completely... maybe it was the way the story turned out, or it was becoz the story's a lil bit like my life, or how I hoped my life would be.... Maybe I'm just too desperate to want to believe in something... so my mind and heart opened up to it completely...

"...when her own jumbled thoughts would keep her awake, sounding like a thousand voices jumping in, jumping out and interrupting each other so much that she could barely close her eyes."

"When you drop a glass or a plate to the ground it makes a loud crashing sound. When a window shatters, a table leg breaks, or when a picture falls off the wall it makes a noise. But as for your heart, when that breaks, it's completely silent. You would think as it's so important it would make the loudest noise in the whole world, or even have some sort of ceremonious sound like the gong of a cymbal or the ringing of a bell. But it's silent and you almost wish there was a noise to distract you from the pain.

If there is a noise, it's internal. It screams and no one can hear it but you. It screams so loud your ears ring and your head aches. It thrashes around in your chest like a great white shark caught in the sea; it roars like a mother bear whose cub has been taken. That's what it looks like and that's what it sounds like, a thrashing, panicking, trapped great big beast, roaring like a prisoner to its own emotions. But that's the thing about love - no one is untouchable. It's as wild as that, as raw as an open flesh wound exposed to salty sea water, but when it actually breaks, it's silent.

You're just screaming on the inside and no one can hear it."
